Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how TicketLater ("TicketLater," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website, applications, and related services ("Services"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
- Identifiers and contact data — name, email address, phone number, and similar details you provide when you create an account, place an order, or contact support.
- Order and transaction data — event, listing, quantity, amounts, payment method type, and order status. Payment card and bank data are collected and processed by our payment processors (for example Stripe, Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay / Clearpay); we do not store full card numbers on TicketLater servers.
- Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies, and usage logs used for security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and product improvement.
- Communications — content of emails or in-app messages you send us, including support requests.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Process orders, payments, refunds, and fulfillment-related communications;
- Authenticate users, detect fraud, and protect security and integrity;
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms;
- Send transactional messages (such as order confirmations and transfer notices); where permitted, send marketing communications you can opt out of.
4. How we share information
We share information with service providers who process data on our behalf — for example payment processors (Stripe and applicable BNPL providers), cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and fraud vendors. We share information with inventory and ticketing partners as needed to fulfill orders. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy. We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for security, session management, preferences, and understanding how the Services are used. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain features (including checkout or sign-in).
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business needs, including legal, tax, and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and jurisdiction.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may opt out of marketing emails via the link in those messages. To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the information below. We will verify requests as required by law.
California residents: you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable. We do not discriminate for exercising these rights.
9. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
10. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes may be communicated as required by law.
